About Us

The Dinton Hermit Inn is situated in the village of Ford, between Thame and Aylesbury, not far from Princes Risborough and Stoke Mandeville, in a beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside setting.  It was bought in May 2008 by Roger and Mariko Pratap, local residents of the neighbouring village of Dinton.

The vision is to bring it up to the standard that is required and deserved by an Inn of such historical significance, ensuring great pub food, comfortable accommodation and a relaxing place to come for a drink – inside or outside.

The Dinton Hermit Inn offers hotel accommodation in 11 bedrooms, a great restaurant serving lunch and dinner, a traditional village pub serving local beers and a large pub garden where food and drink can be enjoyed in the peaceful rural setting.

There are plans in place to develop and further improve the The Dinton Hermit, including to refurbish all of the bedrooms and create more space for both dining in the restaurant and relaxing by the bar.
